Project Brief

USSi were asked to join a meeting with the IRFU amd Dcoy Design to arrange production for a new designed Mascot for the IRFU called “ Broc” (Brocaire is the Irish for Terrier”) we had to develop in 3 sizes 26” for actual player to bring onto the pitch 12” and 7” with sucker for the car for after sales.

Our Solution

This proved quite complex as there was a lot of wire used to make it flexible even the toy dog had imitation studs on its football boots. There is famous TV footage of “Broc” being carried onto Croke park by captain Brian O Driscoll for the famous Ireland V England rugby match in 2007
