What products can we source?

Anything really from packaging to machinery to gifts footwear and fashion over the years we have supplied all of the above and many more and have yet to be beaten on a request to find something from China. So, the next time you are looking to source something Don’t forget to Call USS (excuse the pun!) You will not be disappointed.

What is the usual lead time?

Normal lead times, once samples are approved, is about 12 weeks to allow for goods to be produced and sent by sea freight and 7 weeks by air freight. Although in busier periods like before Xmas and Chinese New Year (CNY) you can add another 2 weeks minimum to the above. *These are guides only depending on the product and the factory involved. Sampling usually takes anywhere from 14-25 days to arrange and send by courier.

Is there a minimum quantity?

There is NO minimum qty as it depends on the size and cost of the item, but a good rule of thumb to work off is 3k qty Minimum order or $5000 USD spend otherwise you will pay extra paperwork charges at the port. It is also best to buy FOB, not EX works as this can incur extra costs.

I have an idea for a product can you help produce it in China?

Yes, this is our speciality, and we do many OEM (original equipment manufacturer and also ODM (Original Design manufacture) where the original patent and design is owned by the client. So, let USSi help you to get your idea manufactured to the highest standard.

Has Covid-19 caused any delays in logistics?

Yes, unfortunately Coid-19 has caused huge delays especially over Xmas 2020 and even currently and as a result ALL freight has increased by 300%-400% minimum.
